Management Team

Lindsey Cook

Chief Executive Officer

Serving as CEO for Curriculum Advantage since early 2003, Cook brings extensive leadership experience to the company. In his previous capacity as a managing director with Corporate Development and Capital, Cook advised numerous education companies regarding product sales, financial, and corporate development. He also served as the CEO for Nschool, an innovative internet company that connects parents, teachers, and students seamlessly. Prior to his education technology industry experience, Cook was a practicing attorney for 15 years, including four years as Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army. Cook is an AV rated attorney and member of the state bars of Georgia and Florida. He earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.


Melissa Sinunu

President

In her capacity as President, Sinunu brings 14 years of experience in the educational technology industry to Curriculum Advantage. Previous experience includes product management for CompassLearning during the launch of a new K-8 reading, math, and language arts program, as well as assessment lines. She has also had successful sales tenures with both CompassLearning and Houghton Mifflin's Classwell Learning Group. Since joining Curriculum Advantage in 2003, Sinunu has guided vast changes to the flagship product, Classworks, spearheading new technology developments and a results-based approach to Classworks implementations across the country.


Daniel Dooley

Executive Vice President of Sales

Dooley brings a wealth of sales and executive management experience to Curriculum Advantage, Inc. Dooley started his sales career with one of the largest privately held companies in Georgia, ultimately serving as their EVP. Prior to joining Curriculum Advantage in late 2004, Dooley was in sales management for the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Force. He also served as Chairman of Nschool, an innovative internet company that connects parents, teachers, and students seamlessly. Under his sales management, Curriculum Advantage has experienced tremendous growth and year-over-year double-digit revenue increases.


Brent Coleman

Chief Revenue Officer

Coleman brings a very successful track record in multiple fields to his position as CRO.  Prior to moving into his current position, Coleman played critical roles on  the Curriculum Advantage sales and managed services teams, where he established new company highs for sales in a single calendar year, was promoted upward from sales representative to area vice president, and later to EVP Sales Administration and Managed Services.  Prior to his tenure with Curriculum Advantage, Coleman thrived for 10 years in the sports world, seven of those years spent with the National Football League Atlanta Falcons. He helped direct marketing and ticket operations efforts that led to the greatest increase in season ticket sales in NFL history. Coleman graduated with honors from Clemson University and earned his MS from the University of Tennessee.


Dr. Stanley W. DeJarnett

Chief Academic Officer

DeJarnett recently retired as the Superintendent of the Morgan County Schools in Madison, Georgia. During his academic career, DeJarnett served in many professional organizations, including the National Governing Board of the American Association of School Administrators and the Executive Board of the Georgia School Superintendents Association. He also served as President of the Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors and as an executive board member for the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders. He also chaired the Georgia Council of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In 2006, DeJarnett was selected as "Educator of the Year" by the GAEL and GACIS organizations. DeJarnett earned bachelor and master degrees from Western Carolina University and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia.


Suzie Nussel

Executive Vice President of Product Innovation and Marketing

Nussel has over twenty years experience in Marketing, with a heavy emphasis on new product innovation, marketing strategy, creative development, and market research. She has worked primarily with Internet and educational software companies. Previously, she worked for AOL as a Director of Brand Marketing, where she developed and launched new digital products for consumers, a $100-million business. Nussel also spent 10 years working for CompassLearning, with a successful tenure in both sales and marketing roles. She is a Board Trustee for the Creative Education Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to innovation, creativity, and change leadership.
