Alignments
Aligned to State and Common Core Standards
An instructional expert reviews each standard to ensure our activities have the tightest possible alignment. Classworks can even align and embed your district pacing guide directly into the software management system.
New national assessments will be operational in the 2014 – 2015 school year, in which schools must demonstrate success using the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). As school districts seek ways to deliver relevant, standards-based instruction aligned to both state standards and the Common Core, Classworks provides dual-aligned “power units” to support educators during the transition. Power units appear in bold in the Classworks manager:

While students work in power units, teachers run biweekly reports to check progress on standards. In a time of shrinking resources, this is a great way to integrate the new Common Core standards into your curriculum, even before they are integrated into your pacing guide. As with our state standards alignment, our Common Core alignment is compiled manually to ensure fidelity.
