Actionable Reports Drive Success
Classworks reports allow each stakeholder (administrators, principals, teachers, and parents) easy access to the data they need to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to reach their goals. Classworks reports are built to be ACTIONABLE – giving current information in a quick, easy-to-read graphical format.
| Report | Purpose | Benefits |
| Assignment Results | Allows teachers to view how each student is doing on each unit, including the activity score and the final unit test scores. | Teachers have the most detailed view of their students' performance on each activity within the unit. Teachers can quickly see time-on-task (TOT) and performance. |
| Benchmark Results: Formative Recommendations |
Shows the teacher the class’ understanding of each strand to inform instruction: where to focus at the beginning of the year, to check progress mid-year, and to independently validate curriculum effectiveness at end-of-year. | Evaluate each sub-population’s rate of learning in comparison to the whole district. Also validate the rigor of the district curriculum by grade and strand. |
| Benchmark Results: Student Growth | Validated and vertically scaled, a student’s rate of learning is monitored longitudinally to ensure success throughout their academic career. | Teachers get a prediction if students are on track to be successful, according to the rate of learning trajectory. This allows teachers to take early intervention measures when necessary. |
| Cognitive Complexity Index | Review student results according to cognitive complexity levels and better understand readiness for performance tasks. Evaluate student's ability on each College and Career Ready practice. | Allows teachers to plan appropriate instructional support for all areas of weakness on the College and Career Ready practices, including increasing performance tasks based on readiness. |
| Comprehensive Student Results | Offers a comprehensive view of one student’s performance on instruction and assessment over a specific period of time. This report displays all student work on instruction and assessment. | Ideal for tracking student movement across the tiers – rate of learning, results on specific strands, and more. This is a useful report for parent-teacher or Support Team conferences. |
| Custom Assessment: Student Progress | Pre-test students to automatically assign unique instruction to each student. See post-test instructional growth by viewing results from both pre- and post-tests. | Aids in monitoring student progress to help teachers make informed instructional decisions for each child, maximizing the value of time-on-task (TOT). |
| District Summary | Gives district personnel high level insight to understand if Classworks is being implemented appropriately based on district goals. | Gives administrators the ability to ensure return on investment and monitor fidelity of implementation goals. |
| High Stakes Test Results | Provides a summary of past performance to help facilitate class grouping, remediation, and acceleration. | Offers each teacher immediate insight into student performance last year to give context for lesson planning moving forward. |
| Instruction Results by State Standards | Aligns all Classworks instructional reports to state standards to a granular layer. Teachers see student progress by strand. This also validates student pacing and the breadth of coverage. | Gives administrators ability to evaluate overall performance and readiness for end of year testing. Helps teachers and principals plan appropriate instructional support for those areas below, on, or above proficient. |
| Progress Monitoring Results | Monitor progress of students based on results of Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM) probes. Determine student response to intervention. | Shows how your student is responding to the interventions put in place by the Student Support Team. Provides documentation for Tier 3 students. |
| Placement Report | For students who are behind 2+ years, this report delivers a starting place, tracks ongoing mastery, and shows skill-specific growth through a spiraled curriculum. | Gives teachers a tool to assess skills knowledge for a new student in their class. Allows teachers to track skill-specific growth. |
| Skills Snapshot: Mastery Measurement | Monitor student progress skill-by-skill to ensure that mastery is occurring at an acceptable rate. Time-on-task is graphed alongside mastery so that teachers can make appropriate adjustments. | Combines assessment and assignment results to give a comprehensive view of each student’s learning. Empowers teachers with one tool that shows progress, mastery, and ways to intervene on behalf of the student (i.e., intervention length or skills assigned). |
| Skills Summary |
Gives teachers and principals an overview of all Classworks instruction completed, including time-on-task (TOT), scores, and number of units.
|
Allows administrators and teachers to monitor the rigor of overall skills completed in Classworks (units are separated by below-, on-, and above-grade level). Gives teachers percentage scores to use as student grades. |
| Student Usage |
View overall Classworks instruction completed and in progress during a specified time frame.
|
This summary of student work can be used to track time-on-task goals, especially for Response to Intervention (RtI) documentation. |
| Universal Screener: RtI Recommendations |
Analyzes student results for grade-level readiness. Identifies students requiring further evaluation by strand and potential intervention. Results are also used to determine movement across tiers in RtI.
|
Helps teachers adjust classroom instruction for whole class. This can also be used to indicate when to move a student from one tier to the next. |
| Universal Screener: Student Growth |
View student growth on Universal Screener over time.
|
Longitudinal growth is reliably measured on a vertical scale throughout the year and across grade levels. Long-term trend indicates whether student is on track for grade level readiness. |
