SUPERSTARS: Tucker Elementary fifth-graders Latressa Adams, Kaylee Westra, Madeline Dannenberg, Luke Rabon and Jacob Turner were honored for their exceptional work with Classworks.

At a 5th Grade graduation ceremony at Tucker Elementary School in Houston County GA, five students were honored as “Classworks Superstars.” These students mastered at least 30 Classworks units and an overall score of at least 92 percent. In the case of Turner, the school’s Academic Bowl team captain – the team finished second in Houston County – he mastered an amazing 86 Classworks units.

Dr. Halstead, Tucker’s Principal commented “When we announced there were going to be Classworks Superstar awards, they thought it was a big deal to have some special people coming from outside of the school to honor their hard work.”   Dr Halstead added that the awards would be a big motivating factor for our fourth-graders, too, who will be moving up and working to reach similar honors.

In addition to being named Classworks Superstars, the five children received a certificate commemorating their achievement, a sports bottle with a Classworks logo and a $20 gift card to Wal-Mart, while the school received Classworks banners for their computer lab.

Way to go Tucker Tigers!
