Classworks Science for Elementary Students

Curriculum Advantage, Inc., publisher of the award-winning Classworks Math and Language Arts titles, is proud to introduce Classworks Science, which is being released just as schools are facing new No Child Left Behind testing requirements in science.

The first edition of Classworks Science software is designed for third through fifth graders, while Classworks’ middle school and high school science products are currently under development.

Curriculum Advantage partnered with Six Red Marbles – a leader in the instructional design field – to develop Classworks Science, which will also use the Lexile Framework to provide a common, developmental scale to match students’ reading abilities with the reading levels of the science instruction.

The units in Classworks Science are organized in a similar way to Classworks Math and Language Arts programs – utilizing mini-lessons, scoreable activities and quick quiz – and include the following Classworks set of strands and concepts for each grade level:
